‘Never underestimate the power of training, giving someone more skills to get on in life is one of the greatest gifts a business can give”. This is the philosophy we have a Timpson, and one NEST will help in supporting more colleagues and partners achieve their career dreams through training.
The idea behind NEST is to have the best training facility in the UK, a building that inspires people to be their best, within an environment that is fun, calm, spacious and collegiate. Finished in March 2020 the 9,258 sq foot training facility is the best in class and sets a benchmark for future learning.
The building is designed so we can be flexible on space and purpose. At Timpson, we run large new starter courses, small specialist HR courses, Town Hall meetings, and even our own Timpson University Degree. We also have a few parties here too!
To ensure the building represents our culture, you will find the design is colourful, friendly, fun and comfortable. There is space to learn, to listen, to chat, to eat, to play and chill – all important aspects of learning in a positive environment.
We’ve opened the door for our friends and neighbours, helping other people gain new skills and enjoy learning together in a very special building.
